What stays local
Best times, streaks, total runs, ghost pace markers, and recent run history are all designed to stay in your browser unless you choose to send something yourself.
Privacy
This arcade keeps many of its game stats local to your device. When you choose to submit a form, that is handled separately.
Best times, recent runs, ghost pace data, total plays, and daily challenge streaks are stored in your browser using local storage. That means they stay on the device and browser you are using. If you switch devices, use a different browser, clear local storage, or reset your local leaderboard, those saved stats may disappear.
This local storage helps the arcade remember your progress without requiring a user account. It powers the local leaderboard page, ghost pace markers, best-time displays, and daily challenge streak tiles.
If you use the contact form, the information you type into the form may be sent by email to the site contact address. That typically includes your name, email address, and message. Do not send private information that you would not want handled by standard email.
If you join the sparkle list in this starter package, the signup is saved to a CSV file on the server. In the starter setup, that file lives in the protected data folder. On a live site, you should review how signups are stored, who can access them, and how long you want to keep them.
This package includes optional placeholders for Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console verification. If you turn those on, the live site may collect additional measurement data such as page views and device details according to the tools you install. If you later add advertising, consent tools, or analytics scripts from third parties, this policy should be updated so it matches the live setup clearly and accurately.
You can reset your local leaderboard at any time using the reset option on the local leaderboard page. You can also clear browser storage directly in your browser settings. If you want sparkle list signups or contact form records handled differently on the live site, update both the site tools and this page together.
Best times, streaks, total runs, ghost pace markers, and recent run history are all designed to stay in your browser unless you choose to send something yourself.
Contact form entries and sparkle list signups can be saved on the server because you are actively submitting that information.
